What is a debt relief program?
A debt relief program is a solution designed to help consumers who are currently struggling to pay back creditors. There are many options a consumer can choose from, such as debt management, credit counseling, debt consolidation, bankruptcy, or the program we offer – debt resolution.
How does debt resolution work?
When you speak with one of our Certified Debt Specialists, they will walk you through a financial assessment by taking a look at your budget, who you owe, how much you owe, and what your current monthly payments are. With this information they will customize a program in which we work to negotiate balances with your creditors that will save nearly 50% of what you owe. They will also set you up with a monthly program deposit based on your disposable income. The goal is to have you paying less than what you currently pay and help you become debt free within 24-48 months.
What type of debt can you help with?
Our team is experienced with negotiating unsecured debt. Unsecured debt is anything that is not tied to an asset that can be taken by a creditor. Examples of unsecured debt includes credit cards, medical bills, department store cards, personal loans, unsecured lines of credit, repossessions, and accounts in collections.
Who can apply for this program?
Our debt relief program is intended for consumers experiencing financial hardship with $10,000 or more in unsecured debt. If you find yourself barely keeping up with payments, are already falling behind, and looking to avoid bankruptcy, this may be a viable option to help you become debt free.
Is there a fee for this service?
There are no upfront fees for our services. We only collect a fee if you achieve results. For us to receive a fee we must strike a deal with your creditor that saves you money, you approve the new negotiated amount, and begin making payments towards the new balance. Our fee is factored into your monthly program deposits and gradually collected throughout the duration of the program. The monthly deposits are refundable, and you can cancel at any time with no penalty.
Will I still be able to use my credit cards?
You can no longer use the accounts enrolled into the debt relief program. Since our negotiations team will be working with your creditors to reduce the balances, the credit cards will be closed. Continuing to use credit cards while experiencing financial hardship and only making minimum payments locks you in a cycle, keeping you in debt. The goal of our debt relief program is to help you save enough money monthly so that you are no longer dependent on credit cards. However, we understand life happens and if you need to, you can keep a credit card with a smaller balance for emergencies out of the program to use and maintain.
What if a creditor does not want to negotiate?
Debt negation has been recognized as a viable solution to help those struggling to pay back what is owed. With the help of our partners, we have established relationships with major banks throughout the nation and negotiated thousands of accounts over the course of the last 15 years saving consumers millions of dollars. We are confident in our abilities and rely on our extensive industry experience. During our initial consultation we will review your accounts and set proper expectations on how we can help. On the rare occasion a creditor rejects negotiation they may have to be removed from the program.
